The Inaugural Pro Bono Week is Coming to Town!

𝐖𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐚𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐨 𝐁𝐨𝐧𝐨 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐢𝐧 𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐨𝐧𝐠.

𝐃𝐨 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐏𝐫𝐨 𝐁𝐨𝐧𝐨? 𝐋𝐚𝐰𝐲𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐮𝐩 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐢𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬

Date: 20th to 26th November 2023

Pro Bono Week will raise awareness of and promote voluntary contributions by the Hong Kong legal community for the public good by giving free legal advice and assistance to those in need in our community. This is at the heart of our organisational mission, so we are proud to be part of this great initiative.

Pro Bono Week is a collaborative event between Pro Bono HK and leading organisations, including the Association of Corporate Counsel Hong Kong, PILnet, the Hong Kong Bar Association and Time Auction with the support of Allen & Overy, DLA Piper, Linklaters, Mayer Brown, Ropes & Gray LLP, Bloomberg and many others.

𝐖𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐤𝐞𝐲 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐮𝐩, 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠:

• 20 November 2023 (Monday) being our launch event;

• 21 November 2023 (Tuesday), a special edition of the Hong Kong Pro Bono Roundtable;

• 22 November 2023 (Wednesday), our Pro Bono HK social drinks; and

• 23 November 2023 (Thursday) Students and junior lawyers sharing session on pro bono experiences.
