Pro Bono HK Internship (Spring 2025)
Pro Bono HK Internship Programme
Pro Bono HK (PBHK) is excited to announce the launch of our Spring 2025 Internship Programme designed specifically for law students. This programme is an opportunity for students to gain real-life experience working alongside public interest lawyers who are dedicated to protect individual rights and improve access to justice. This is also a valuable opportunity for students to gain insight into pursuing a meaningful and fulfilling legal career.
Programme Activities
During the internship, interns will have the opportunity to attend legal clinics and assist with client inquiries, screening interviews for the means and merits test, preparation of documentation, and research on legal issues to support qualified practitioners providing legal advice. Interns will also be responsible for note-taking to facilitate the operation of the legal clinics under supervision.
In addition to participating in our legal clinics, interns will attend lectures and workshops conducted outside of clinic hours. These sessions are designed to help participants develop practical skills and deepen their knowledge of public interest law. Experienced legal practitioners from diverse backgrounds will lead these sessions, giving interns a unique opportunity to connect, learn, and interact with professionals passionate about pro bono work and community service.
